Accessibility Statement
We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
What are we doing?
To help us make the Chippewa River Watershed website a positive place for everyone, we use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as our reference standard. These guidelines are developed by the W3C and define how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and combinations of these.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Chippewa River Watershed website.
How are we doing?
We’ve worked hard on the Chippewa River Watershed website and believe we’ve achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We regularly assess the accessibility of our site using a combination of automated tools, manual testing, and user feedback. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.
