Shakopee Creek

The Shakopee Creek Planning Region encompasses 15% of the watershed, or 203,200 acres. It also includes some recreationally valued lakes, such as Games, Norway, Andrew and Middle lakes.  The Chippewa River Watershed Association is currently developing a Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan that will prioritize work to improve and protect the natural resources in the watershed. Watch this website for more information as the plan is adopted and implementation begins.
